‘’I am an image scavenger, inspired by photographs from antique shops and flea markets across England. I aim to trigger a feeling of nostalgia and a sense of community. We are asked to ponder who these people are, what they are celebrating, or mourning, or who they are waiting for. Whilst being nostalgic for our lost histories I seek to capture moments through the use of a muted pallet and varying layers of visibility. I strive to cross the boundary between a sense of longing and the anticipation of the unknown.''
